Moss Had Been Admitted to The Hospital after Suffering from Chest Infection

British motor racing legend Sir Sterling Moss has died at the age of 90 after a long illness. Regarded as one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers, Moss retired from public life in January 2018 due to ill health.

Moss suffered from chest infection while on a holiday in Singapore and was admitted to the hospital for 134 days.

Although he did not win a Formula 1 title, the sportsman enjoyed success in many racing formats.

Tributes have poured in from around the world. Mercedes, Moss’s former team, eulogized him saying it had lost not only a true icon and a legend, but a gentleman.
