West Virginia is the Last State to Report COVID-19 Case in the United States
The first novel coronavirus case in West Virginia was announced on Tuesday by Gov. Jim Justice, making it the last state in the US to confirm a case of the epidemic. The case had been detected in the state’s Eastern Panhandle.
The case came just a day after President Donald Trump showered praises on Justice for working to ensure that West Virginia was free of COVID-19.
Justice ordered all casinos, bars, and restaurants to close, but stated that carryout food services would still be available.
The people in West Virginia were urged to keep calm in the face of the epidemic and continue with their daily lives but must be vigilant and cautious about the virus.
