Warrant issued for suspect behind Wendy’s Arson in Atlanta

Atlanta Investigators Say suspect in Wendy’s fire could be linked to Rayshard Brooks

Atlanta investigators were working with the idea that a suspect in the arson fire that brought down an Atlanta Wendy’s restaurant could be linked to Rayshard Brooks.

An arrest warrant was issued for Natalie White and she was charged with first-degree arson in the fire that took place amid escalated protests following the police killing of Rayshard Brooks.

Officials said White was suspected to have set up fire to the Wendy’s on June 13.

In a body cam recording released last week, Brooks could be heard telling the officers that Ms. White was his girlfriend.

However, Atlanta Fire Sgt. Cortez Stafford said more suspects could be involved in the incident.
