Tracy Province Second Escaped Arizona Convict Arrested:Casslyn Welch Wanted

Tracy Province Second Escaped Arizona Convict Arrested:Casslyn Welch Wanted – One of two convicts who escaped with the help of an accomplice out of Arizona was captured this morning, after police say he was found walking out of a church in Montana with a loaded gun.

Tracy Province and John McCluskey originally escaped on July 30th from Arizona State Prison, aided by McCluskey’s fiance and cousin, Casslyn Welch.

Welch allegedly passed wire cutters over the medium-security fence, and the three escaped on foot, along with Daniel Renwick, who was caught last week. They then held up a couple of truck drivers, but left them unharmed in their truck at a stop a few hundred miles away.

Province was found outside Meeteetse Community Church after attending a service, and said he was grateful that the manhunt was over. However, he did not know where the other two were.

The trio has already been linked to the murder of an elderly couple by DNA evidence, the bodies of Linda and Gary Haas found badly burned in their trailer. The murder shows that the couple is armed and extremely dangerous, willing to kill to make their escape; they used the couple’s truck for 100 miles before leaving it abandoned.

“They consider themselves as Bonnie and Clyde. This is very, very serious business,” US Marshal David Gonzales said.

McCluskey was serving a 15-year sentence for attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault, as well as the discharge of a firearm.

Province was serving life for a robbery-murder, and Renwick was serving a two 22-year sentences for second degree murder.

  1. Well the AZ Jan Brewer did it again, she signed into law to allow “Private Prisons”. Even though Corrections Director Ryan pleaded with her in his letter, “Undoubtedly, a private company would pay its employees significantly lower wages and provide them lesser training to realize cost savings. This would lead to higher staff turnover, low morale and place public safety at risk”.

I wonder if its “Corrections Corporation of America (CCA)” the same one that two of her staff members are lobby for “Private Prisons”, no, it could be, say it ain’t so. Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) will benefit from Arizona’s criminalization of undocumented immigrants and their being held as prisoners under SB 1070, it takes fear mongering to another level.

These “Private Prisons” were only suppose to be for DUI prisoners but now we find out that escaped prisoner Tracy Alan Province and John Charles McCluskey, escaped, were being kept there.

These prisoners were convicted of murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, so what did they do, they carjacked someone’s vehicle, assisted by family (resulting in the arrest of one of their mothers), possibly killed an Oklahoma couple visiting New Mexico, before they were finally capured (at least one of them).

Way to go Brewer, you do not care about public saftey, just as long as you get your political contributions check, amazing.
