Palin Slams Obama on Immigration : Lacks ‘The Cojones’ To Tackle Immigration – Sarah Palin doesn’t think that Obama has what it takes to tackle the issue of immigration. In fact, she said that he “does not have the cojones” to tackle the issue. She appeared on “Fox News Sunday,” where she made the statement. She continued to blast Obama for blocking the recent Arizona immigration bill that has caused a great deal of controversy in recent weeks.
Certain portions of the bill were blocked, including a portion of the bill that requires police officers to demand immigration documentation from individuals that they have reason to believe may be here illegal.
Palin blasted democrats, and specifically Obama for not addressing the issue sooner. Obama has been attempting to get Congress to pay more attention to the issue, but their plate is likely going to be full until sometime next year.
She also attacked Obama for allowing Bush’s tax cuts for the rich plan to expire, saying that this is no time to think about increasing taxes. She continued by saying that the government has largely mishandled some of the biggest issues into today’s world, and gave her opinion on a variety of different subjects.
She also declined to address a number of polls that have stated that her endorsement hurts candidates more than helps him.
“I don’t blame people for not knowing what I stand for,” Palin said. “If I believed everything I read in the media, I wouldn’t like me either.”
It is apparent that she is gearing up for a 2012 presidential bid, but is she going about creating a buzz for herself in the right way? There has been a lot of disagreement on the issue.
