Man Found Guilty of Fatally Stabbing Nicki Minaj’s Manager Outside of Philadelphia Bar
38-year-old Khaliyfa Neely was convicted for fatally stabbing Nicki Minaj’s manager outside of a Philadelphia bar in 2015.
According to District Attorney Larry Kresner, Neely was found guilty of third-degree murder, aggravated assault, simple assault, and possession of an instrument of crime.
Neely stabbed Devon Andre Pickett on Feb. 18, 2015, outside of a bar in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
At the time of the incident, Pickett was preparing to go out on tour with Minaj.
“Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly,” Minaj wrote on her Twitter account. “One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.”
Judge Scott O’Keefe is expected to sentence Neely on April 24.
