Latest Microsoft Office Application announced for Windows 10 users

Microsoft recently announced its latest Office App for the Windows 10 platform. This will essentially replace the current My Office Application shipping along with this system.

Jared Spataro, the Vice President at Microsoft Corporate stated that the company is bringing a completely new experience with Office.com to the Windows 10 platform. It will available in an application form under the name “Office”. As of now, it is available for the Windows Insiders (Fast) which shall soon roll out for all the users of Windows 10. This app is free of cost and can easily be used along with the Office 365 subscription, Office Online, or the perpetual Office versions.

The app comes with ample benefits to increase the user experience with Office. With this app, one can quickly switch from one application to another with use of shortcuts. It also provides shortcuts for the documents recently used, documents shared, and pinned documents.

Thanks to the Microsoft Search integration, one can look for people, apps, documents, as well as sites in a pretty quick and easy fashion. Organizations can also brand office app while adding shortcuts for their very own LOB (Line of Business) bringing in a personalized experience.
