Students and administrators in Klein Forest High School in Houston, Texas, were ordered to evacuate the campus Tuesday at about 1:00 p.m. after a firework exploded in the school’s cafeteria area.
Harris County Fire Marshall’s Office said about four people sustained possible injuries in the incident.
One person was taken into custody. Authorities were reviewing the school’s surveillance video to establish who may have been responsible.
About 4,000 people were in the school at the time of the incident.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives responded to the scene.
