Jan Brewer Beheadings Lie: Refusing To Debate

Jan Brewer Beheadings Lie: Refusing To Debate – Jan Brewer has come under fire regarding few statements that she made during the recent gubernatorial debate in Arizona. During the debate, Brewer can be seen freezing up on several different occasions, and had trouble answering questions accurately. It was clear that she was not as prepared for the debate as her opponent, who easily came out on top during their televised quarrel.

During the debate and in previous interviews she said that rising violence along the US-Mexican border has led to a number of headless bodies turning up in the desert. Now, it appears that this is not true. As it turns out, no headless bodies have been found to be in connection with the drug cartel violence that plagues Mexico. She responded by saying that she made the comments in reference to her concern over the rising levels of violence along the border, and said that she just does not want to see the violence spill onto US soil.

She also had problems making it through the opening statement, losing her train of thought on several occasions and forgetting to introduce herself to the crowd. At one point, she remained silent for more than 10 seconds, and interrupted the awkwardness with a laugh and a glance down at her table before regaining her composure. Her opponent quickly capitalized on her lack of focus by bringing up comments that she had made regarding beheadings within the state of Arizona. Brewer quickly dodged the question with an accusation of her own, but it was too late; the damage had been done and has revealed that she will no longer participate in debates. We can understand why.
