Houston Gunman Kills 3, Injures Another in String of Shootings

Houston Police Looking for Suspect Who Fatally Shot Three People and Wounded Another

Police officers in Houston were looking for a suspect who was believed to have shot and killed three men, and wounded another, following shootings at three locations in less than an hour Wednesday night.

The killings, the first of which happened at roughly 8:15 p.m., were related. All the four victims, together with the suspect, were thought to have known each other.

Police were in search of 35-year-old Joshua Kelsey, who was thought to be driving a 2012 silver Kia Forte.

According to officials, the suspect shot two men in the first shooting, one of whom died at around 8:15 p.m., and the second man was in surgery. The suspect and one of the males had some confrontation over drugs before the shooting.

The 2012 Kia was stolen at the scene of that shooting.

The suspect then drove to a home, forced his way inside and fatally shot a 60-year-old man. After that, he went to a third home, knocked, entered, and shot a man who was in his 40s, also killing him.

The fatal shooting at the second home took place at about 8:36 p.m., and the last person was shot and killed at about 9 p.m.

The identities of the victims were still not yet released.
