Fireball In Sky Last Night

Fireball In Sky Last Night – Last night a huge fireball lit up the sky over Wisconsin, and four other Midwest states. When the story first broke, it was believed that the fireball was only visible over Wisconsin, but it soon became apparent that the fireball was seen from more areas than it was originally thought. Although it was not immediately clear what the fireball may have been, and all evidence has probably been burned to a crisp as the ball entered out atmosphere, scientists are now saying that the giant fireball that lit up five different states in the middle of the night was more than likely a piece of rocket debris or asteroid debris making its way to earth. Speculation over what the object might have been by scientists have turned up several different theories.

The states that witnessed the fireball were Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. Depending on where you saw the fireball from it may have appeared to be a different color. Some regions reported seeing a bright yellow or bright red, while others reported that they had seen a giant green fireball. The fireball first appeared at around 10 P.M. CDT.

The National Weather Service quickly released a report stating that the object was more than likely a meteorite.
“Several reports of a prolonged sonic boom were received from areas north of Highway 20, along with shaking homes, trees and various other objects including wind chimes. there have been no reports of any damage or injuries as a resort of the meteorite. Witnesses have said that the ball became visible and lit up the night sky as if “a full moon just peeked out from a cloud.” Videos of the incident quickly made their way online and onto news websites around the world.
