National City, California (December 3, 2019) – A pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday
night in National City has been identified as 52-year-old Rebecca Sparks of
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 9:15 p.m. December 2, on Valley Road near Calle Abajo Road.
According to a police report, Sparks was
walking to her parked car when she was struck by a passing vehicle.
Sparks was killed in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped
after the accident and cooperated with the investigators.
