California (January 28, 2020) – Pimienta Rodriguez Celso, 43, has been
identified as the landscaper who was seriously injured after being hit by a car
in San Marcos on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident
happened at about 7:15 a.m. along West Borden Road near Palomar College.
San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said Celso was unloading landscaping equipment when a car driven by a 16-year-old girl crashed into a parked trailer he was standing next to.

The condition of the girl was not immediately disclosed.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
