California (December 19, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car
in Humboldt County on Tuesday evening.
According to a local news source, the fatal bicycle accident
happened on Soda Bay Road near Mission Rancheria Road at about 5:30 p.m.
A man was walking in the area and was hit by a 2004 Chevrolet Astro driven by a 76-year-old Lakeport woman.
The unidentified pedestrian was transported to the hospital
where he later died while undergoing treatment.
The driver and her 79-year-old male passenger were not
No other information was provided.
