Stanton, California (September 30, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car early Sunday morning in Stanton.

According to a local news report, the fatal pedestrian accident happened in the area of Beach Boulevard and Chapman Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. September 29.

A pedestrian was reportedly walking across the street when a white newer-model Toyota hit him.

The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.

The deceased was not immediately identified.        

Information about the motorist was not available at the time of reporting.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the fatal pedestrian accident.
