Rialto, California (November 8, 2019) – 81-year-old Mirtha Rivera has been identified as the
pedestrian who was hit and killed by a car in Rialto, San Bernardino, on
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:23 p.m. November 5, in the area of San Bernardino Avenue and Riverside Avenue.
CHP said Rivera was walking near the
intersection when she was hit by a car.
Rivera was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center
where she died while undergoing treatment.
Information about the motorist was not immediately provided.
