San Leandro, California (October 9, 2019) – According to a local news source, a man was killed in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred in San Leandro on Wednesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12 a.m. on Hesperian Boulevard near Lewelling Boulevard.

A man was reportedly walking westbound across the northbound lanes of the roadway when he was struck by a car.

The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.

The motorist reportedly fled the scene after the accident and was yet to be located.

No further information was provided.
