Fresno, California (October 5, 2019) – A man and his son were injured after being struck by a car in Fresno on Friday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. October 4, on Marks Avenue at Alamos Avenue.
The police said a man and his 10-year-old stepson were crossing the intersection when they were hit by a car that was making a turn at the intersection.
The child is reported to have sustained major injuries and was rushed to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.
The man reportedly sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
