Fresno, California (October 10, 2019) – A major injury traffic collision was reported at an intersection in Fresno on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 3:10 p.m. in the area of Minnewawa Avenue and Tulare Avenue.

As per the report, a black Honda and a brown Toyota were involved in the collision. However, the manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established.

The authorities confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the collision and the victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The number of injured people was not immediately disclosed.

No further information was provided.             

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
