Los Angeles, California (November 18, 2019) – Two teenagers were killed in a car accident in Los Angeles on Sunday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 12:55 a.m. on Parthenia Street near Lurline Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said a 2007 pickup truck operated by a 20-year-old Pablo Ramon Trujillo was traveling westbound on the roadway when it veered into the eastbound lanes of the roadway and collided with a white van.
The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to overturn and crash into two parked cars.
16-year-old Luis E. Perez and 19-year-old Cesar A. Perez, who were passengers in the pickup truck, were killed in the accident.
The two teenagers were brothers.
Trujillo was injured in the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
