(October 14, 2019) – A man who died in a two-vehicle collision in Santa Ana
on Saturday morning has been identified.
The accident happened at around 10:50 a.m. October 12, at
the intersection of Newhope Street and Westminster Boulevard.
A black 2014 Toyota Camry was reportedly making a turn in
the area when it crashed into a 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
A passenger in the Sonata, 20- year-old Kobe Kidwell, was
killed in the collision.
The Sonata driver suffered facial injuries while her other two
female passengers sustained severe internal injuries and were taken to a nearby
local hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
