Lancaster, California (November 15, 2019) – A woman who was killed in a two-car crash on Thursday afternoon
in Lancaster has been identified as 21-year-old Kaitlynn Renee Houghton.
The fatal collision occurred at about 12:26
p.m. November 14, at the intersection of Avenue F and 60th Street West.
As per a local news report, Houghton was
driving a red Lexus westbound on Avenue F when she failed to stop at a stop
sign and slammed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Brenna Romines.
The impact of the collision caused both
vehicles to veer off the roadway and overturn.
Houghton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Romines and her passenger were taken to
Antelope Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
