Fairfield, California (January 21, 2020) –  A motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car in Fairfield, Solano County, on Sunday evening has been identified as 30-year-old Justin Wilkinson.

The fatal motorcycle accident happened at about 4 p.m. January 19, on Waterman Boulevard near Interstate 80 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Justin Wilkinson, a resident of Fairfield, was reportedly riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he collided with an SUV for unknown reasons.

Mr. Wilkinson sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The SUV driver, a 63-year-old Fairfield man, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
