Ceres, California (November 13, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a driver who was injured in a car accident at an intersection in Ceres on Sunday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at the intersection of Crows Landing Road and Hackett Road near El Rematito Flea Market at about 10:06 a.m. November 10.
CHP said 62-year-old Heliodoro Perez was driving a tan 2003 Toyota Corolla westbound on the roadway when he collided with a southbound Chevy Silverado pickup truck driven by 43-year-old Jose Sanchez.
Perez was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Sanchez and his passenger, 39-year-old Roberto Sanchez, were injured in the crash and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
