Fairfield, California (November 14, 2019) – Jerrol Dodd, 26, was identified as the man who was killed in a car accident on Wednesday evening in Fairfield.

According to the authorities, the fatal accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. November 13, on 680 Freeway near Gold Hill Road.

As per the CHP report, a BMW SUV driven by a Pennsylvania woman had been stopped on the shoulder and was trying to cross the off-ramp when it was broadsided by the passing Honda CRV.

The impact of the crash caused the BMW to overturn.

A Dodge Ram was also involved in the crash.

Dodd, a Tennessee resident and who was a passenger in BMW, was killed in the collision.

The Honda driver was transported to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

The driver of the BMW was transported to North Bay Medical Center with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
