James Peabody and Dakota Drazkowski Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Highway 62 near Rotary Way in San Bernardino

Joshua Tree, California (November 12, 2019) – Three people were injured in a car accident in Joshua Tree, San Bernardino, on Monday afternoon.

 According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 1:225 p.m. November 11, on Highway 62 near Rotary Way and Copper Mountain College.

The California Highway Patrol said 26-year-old James Peabody was driving a Pontiac Sunfire eastbound on the roadway and crashed into a guardrail for unknown reasons.

The impact of the collision propelled the Pontiac into the westbound lanes where it collided with a Nissan Sentra driven by 24-year-old Alejandro Medina.

The Pontiac then collided with a Dodge Ram driven by Dakota Drazkowski.

The impact of the collision caused the Nissan to and the Dodge to roll over off the roadway.

All three drivers were injured in the accident and were taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.

No further information was provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
