Lancaster, California (January 3, 2020) – 45-year-old George Luis Rodriguez of Fontana has been identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office as the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident at an intersection in Lancaster on Tuesday morning.
The motorcycle accident happened at about 11 a.m. December 31, on Avenue J at Valley Central Way.
The California Highway Patrol said Rodriguez was riding a 2013 Suzuki motorcycle westbound across the intersection when he was hit by a Honda CRV that was making a left turn from eastbound Avenue J onto northbound Valley Central Way.
The motorcyclist was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
The condition of the motorist, Lonny Quintana of Lancaster, is unknown.
No other information was provided.
The accident is under investigation.
