Oakland, California (December
18, 2019) – A man was struck and killed after exiting his car after a car
crash in Oakland on Wednesday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at
about 4:06 a.m. on Interstate 580 Freeway near Lakeshore Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said a Mercedes was traveling
in the westbound lanes when the driver lost control, spun out and collided with
a pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck was reportedly exiting the
car and was hit by a passing Honda sedan.
The unidentified driver was killed in the accident.
