Modesto, California (October
16, 2019) – A 2-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a car in
northwest Modesto on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a local
news report, the accident happened in the 2100 block of Chrysler Drive near Prescott
Road at about 4:27 p.m.
The 2-year-old boy and other children were playing in the area
when he was hit by a car.
The boy sustained by unspecified injuries and was flown to University
of California, Davis, Medical Center for treatment.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
A section of the roadway was closed after the accident.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
