Chino Hills, California (February 4, 2020) – The authorities have
disclosed the identity of a pedestrian who was struck and seriously injured by
a car accident in Chino Hills on Monday evening.
According to the California
Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened on Eucalyptus Avenue near
Galloping Hills Road at about 6:30 p.m. February 3.
The authorities said 33-year-old Ashley Nicole Bautista of Chino Hills was walking in the area and was hit by a silver 2002 Infiniti driven by 24-year-old Karolyn Rose Jaranilla of Chino Hills.
Nicole Bautista sustained major
injuries in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The motorist reportedly stayed at
the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No other information about the accident was provided.
