Palmdale, California (November 18, 2019) – A male passenger who was killed in a two-car collision on Saturday morning, November 16, in Palmdale has been identified as Andy Hernandez, authorities said.

The deadly crash happened at 50th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard at around 1:25 a.m.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a 1998 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on 50th Street East when it collided head-on with a 2017 Dodge Challenger that was traveling southbound on 50th Street East.

Hernandez, 24, who was a passenger in the Toyota Camry, was killed in the crash.

The L.A. Co. Fire Department rushed the two drivers to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.

No further information regarding the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
