being hit by a car as he rode his bicycle in Huntington Beach earlier this
According to the California Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Adam Nickelson was riding a bicycle on Beach Boulevard near Indianapolis Avenue at about 11:55 p.m., January 19, when he was struck by a car.
Huntington Beach Police Department
officials who responded to the incident found the bicyclist down on the roadway.
Adam Nickelson was seriously injured in the
accident and was transported to UCI Medical Center where he died on Thursday,
The motorist, a 64-year-old Huntington
Beach resident, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
