Wildomar, California (February 9, 2020) – At least
four people including children were injured in a car accident that happened in
Wildomar, Riverside County, on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the
accident happened at about 1:22 p.m. February 8, on 15 Freeway near Bundy Canyon Road.
A sedan was driving recklessly when it collided with a second vehicle before driving away.
The impact of the crash caused the second
vehicle to overturn.
Five people were trapped inside the overturned
car. Several motorists pulled over to assist the victims.
Four people sustained major head injuries and
were rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
