Bakersfield, California (December 10, 2019) – According to the
California Highway Patrol, three people were injured in a car accident that occurred
in Bakersfield on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on
northbound 5 Freeway at Highway 166 at about 5:49 a.m.
The authorities said a semi-truck
rear-ended a white Ford pickup truck on the roadway for unknown reasons.
Three people were injured in the
collision and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The conditions of the victims of the accident were not immediately disclosed.
