Escondido, California (January 21, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident that occurred in Escondido on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened
at Washington Avenue at Grape Street at about 6:30 p.m. January 20.

The pedestrian was injured in the accident and was taken to Palomar Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
The identity of the
pedestrian was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The motorist remained at the
scene and cooperated with the authorities.
