North Highlands, California (February 13, 2020) – A motorcyclist died after crashing into a car Tuesday night in North Highlands, Sacramento.
The accident was reported on Watt Avenue near Karl Drive at about 8 p.m. February 12.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 28-year-old North Highlands was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he rear-ended a car.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Sadly, the rider died while undergoing treatment.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The police said alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors in the accident.
