Woodland, California (February 15, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that killed at least one person on Friday afternoon in Woodland, Yolo County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal happened on southbound Interstate 5 near Country Road 102 at around 4:45 p.m. February 14.
At least three vehicles were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
One person was confirmed dead following the collision.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The police temporarily closed the roadway to allow for examination of the scene.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
