James Hunter Killed in Riverbank Car Crash on Highway 108

Riverbank, California – The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died in a solo-car accident early Monday morning in Riverbank as James Hunter of Ceres.

The 51-year-old man was not wearing his seat belt when his car crashed at around 2:13 a.m. on Highway 108, just west of Adams Gravel Plant Road.

Emergency crews responding to the scene found a 2006 Lexus sedan south of the roadway and Hunter lying nearby after he was ejected from the car.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An initial investigation revealed that Hunter was eastbound on the highway when he veered off the south edge under unclear circumstances.

His vehicle hit a metal garbage bin and several trees before coming to rest.

An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.

Swift action by an intelligent and experienced attorney is imperative in order to preserve evidence, interview witnesses and immediately begin pursuing any and all responsible parties.”

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”

Mr. Khodaverdian is the recipient of numerous accolades including one of the: Top 10 Wrongful Death Settlements in CA in 2019; Top 10 Motor Vehicle Accident Settlements in CA in 2019; Top 10 Truck Accident Settlements in CA in 2019, and Top 10 Motorcycle Accident Settlements in CA in 2019.
