San Francisco, California – 79-year-old Edda Cabrera has been identified by the San Francisco’s Medical Examiner as the woman who died after being hit by a vehicle on March 2.

According to authorities, the San Francisco resident was hit by a red Honda sedan at the intersection of Mission Street and Geneva Avenue.

First responders found Cabrera lying in the roadway and rushed her to the hospital.

Sadly, the woman did not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead.

The 83-year-old woman driving the sedan stopped and remained at the scene after the accident.

Meanwhile, police said a second car, described as a 2010-2014 black four-door Ford Raptor pickup truck with tinted windows, may have been involved in the crash.

According to police, the pickup truck may have collided with the Honda sedan before it struck the pedestrian.

Investigators believe the pickup truck may have acquired damage to its right rear side.

Police are asking the owner of the Ford truck or the person who was driving it at the time of the accident to contact Sgt. Luis Oliva with the Police Department’s Traffic Collision Investigation Unit at (415) 553-1641.

We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
