Acton, California – Trevor Calhoun, 19, of Canyon Country, has been identified as the person who was killed in an Acton crash that occurred on Sierra Highway Wednesday evening, according to the authorities.

At around 7:45 p.m. March 24, authorities responded to a traffic collision on the highway, just north of Mountain Springs Road.

Emily Dominguez, 19, of Santa Clarita, was driving a 1996 Toyota Corolla southbound on Sierra Highway when she began to move onto the shoulder of the roadway and lost control.

The vehicle then traveled across the southbound lane into the northbound side, where it collided with the passenger side of another vehicle.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to find three trapped parties in the wreckage.

Calhoun, who was a passenger in the Corolla, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 59-year-old Palmdale resident, had minor injuries and declined to be transported to the hospital.

Dominguez was arrested on suspicion of DUI. She was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
