San Jose, California – Daniel Ortiz Chacon, 21, of San Jose has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic crash on Highway 85, north of Cottle Road in South San Jose on Sunday night, according to the CHP.

The accident happened in the southbound lanes of the highway when a 2009 Acura TSX sedan lost control and rear-ended a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle in another lane.

CHP said the crash was reported at around 8 p.m. March 21.

The impact ejected the rider onto the roadway.

The coroner’s office identified the motorcyclist as Chacon. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Acura, a 26-year-old man from Los Banos, and his passenger, a 22-year-old woman, were both hospitalized with major injuries.

An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is being undertaken by the CHP.

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
