Victorville, California – A pedestrian died following a Victorville crash that occurred on Green Tree Boulevard and Second Avenue Thursday evening, according to the authorities.

Authorities said a pedestrian reportedly ran in front of a vehicle heading east on Green Tree Boulevard.

The pedestrian, who was not immediatey identified, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver and passenger stayed at the scene after the accident and checked on the pedestrian.

The crash caused a closure of  Green Tree Boulevard as authorities investigated the incident.

The crash is under investigation.
