Ceres, California – A motorcyclist was injured in a Ceres crash involving an ambulance on Hatch and Mitchell roads Friday morning, according to the Ceres Police Department.

At about 9:11 a.m. March 13, authorities said a motorcycle rider collided with an ambulance for unknown reasons.

The rider sustained lower-body injuries of an unknown degree.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment.

No further details were released.

The accident is under investigation.
