Garden Grove, California – The authorities have identified Joseph Mendoza, 28, as one of the three people killed in a traffic accident that took place in Garden Grove early Friday morning.

A Dodge Ram truck had been spotted by the Garden Grove Police Department traveling at a high rate of speed through a parking lot in the area of Chapman Avenue and Harbor Boulevard at around 2:15 a.m. March 12.

The officers turned on their lights and sirens to stop the driver but the suspect fled at a high rate of speed.

The truck collided with a car shortly after at the intersection of Euclid Street and Orangewood Avenue. The impact sent the truck crashing through a wall, after which it struck a water hydrant and overturned into a pool.

Mendoza, who was in the truck, was killed in the crash

The second occupant of the truck, identified as Sal Fernandez, 34, was also pronounced dead at the scene.

The car’s driver, Michael Clugston, 39, of Anaheim, succumbed to his injuries at UC Irvine Medical Center.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Swift action by an intelligent and experienced attorney is imperative in order to preserve evidence, interview witnesses and immediately begin pursuing any and all responsible parties.”

“Usually, clients hire me immediately after their first consultation because they quickly figure out that I will treat them like family. I lift a weight off their shoulders immediately. That is my job. We simply leave no stone unturned – period. We go after everyone and everything. There is no other way to ensure justice,” Mr. Khodaverdian states.

While Mr. Khodaverdian does not represent any of the parties involved in this incident, he has recovered over $100 million for thousands of injury victims and their families. “In one case, we were able to recover a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim killed by a negligent driver. We have numerous other 6-figure settlements within 30 days. While these results are atypical and do not predict future outcomes, justice in these cases helped bring about closure and a swift sense of justice for the families.”
