Antelope Woman Dies in Woodland Car Accident on Interstate 5 near County Route 103

Woodland, California – The California Highway Patrol responded to a Woodland car accident on Interstate 5 near County Route 103 that happened on Thursday morning,  leaving one person dead.

A 2016 Honda was traveling southbound on I-5 when, for unknown reasons, it went off the road and crashed into a metal center divider, causing it to split into two, the report said.

The incident was reported at around 7:23 a.m. on February 18.

An Antelope woman, who was the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

More details about the crash were not provided.

CHP did not immediately determine if alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
