Daniel Davalos, Destiny Munoz Killed in Traffic Collision on Ming Avenue in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, California – Daniel Armando Encinas Davalos, 33, and Destiny Mariah Munoz, 21, have been identified as the two people who died following a Bakersfield car crash in the 500 block of Ming Avenue on Wednesday night.

According to a police report, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Ming Avenue when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and hit a wood utility pole.

The vehicle then struck another fixed object, shearing it in half.

The incident occurred at around 10:25 p.m. on February 17.

Davalos was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Munoz was trapped inside the vehicle and was also declared deceased.

Two other men were taken to a hospital with severe injuries.

It wasn’t clear whether alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
