Palmdale, California – The authorities are looking for William Alexander Marquez,  34, who has been identified as the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash that left two people dead on Saturday in Palmdale.

According to the report, Marquez is suspected to have been the driver of a black vehicle that was fleeing from an initial accident when it drove through the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue O-8  and T-boned a silver Honda.

The incident took place at around 10:20 p.m. January 30.

Two occupants of the Honda, Sergio Martinez, 18, and his cousin Anthony Cruz, 17, were both killed in the crash. 

Two other people were hurt but declined medical transport.

The driver of the black vehicle reportedly fled on foot after the crash.

Authorities said Marquez is being sought on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run following the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
