One Dies in Commerce Collision on Long Beach (710) Freeway

Commerce, California – One person was killed in a Commerce traffic crash on Long Beach (710) Freeway Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At around 7 a.m., authorities said the crash happened on the southbound side of the Long Beach (710) Freeway near Washington Boulevard.

It’s unclear what led up to the crash.

CHP said one person died in the accident.

At least one lane was closed as authorities examined the scene.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
