John Marks III Killed in Homeland Car Accident on Highway 74

Homeland, California – John Marks III, 30, of Homeland has been identified as the man who was killed in a Saturday morning car accident in the 32000 block of Highway 74 in Homeland, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.

The California Highway Patrol said Marks was driving a 2019 Ford Fusion westbound on Highway 74 when he crashed and overturned at around 2 a.m., just west of White Avenue, for reasons still under investigation.

The Riverside County Fire Department responded to the crash and declared Marks, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, deceased.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
