Haolan Chen Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision on N. Park Victoria and Kennedy Drives

Milpitas, California – 7-year-old Haolan Chen was hit and killed by a stolen vehicle at N. Park Victoria, and Kennedy Drives in Milpitas.

Police said a 2015 White Lexus R35, which had been stolen along Oakland Road in San Jose on January 2, was spotted on E. Calaveras Boulevard, near N. Park Victoria Drive.

The Lexus driver reportedly sped away when he ran a stop sign and struck Chen, who was crossing the street at a marked crosswalk.

Chen was riding a bicycle accompanied by his father and his sister.

Paramedics responded to the crash and provided life-saving measures to Chen before transporting him to a local hospital.

Sadly, Chen was later pronounced dead while in the hospital.

The Lexus driver did not stop after the crash.
